This mouse IgG2a isotype control antibody reacts with hen egg lysozyme and has low or no specific binding to any mouse sample. The amino acid substitutions L235E/E318A/K320A/K322A have been demonstrated to greatly reduce or abolish C1q binding/complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and to reduce FcγR-mediated effector function, especially FcγRI binding and ADCC.
