Granite United Way is a nonprofit organization that makes strategic investments in the community to help others learn, earn, and be healthy. Their impact covers more than 85% of New Hampshire, Windsor County, and Vermont.  

The Camp Starter Kit project was established by Granite United way. Their mission is to help families with summer supplies. The project began as a conversation about how to help parents and guardians during the summer. Camps and summer daycares are expensive and can be a challenge for some families, and then add paying for supplies on top of that. Last year, the project was able to provide kits to the Lebanon and Hartford recreations, which totaled up to 200 kits. This year, their goal is to donate 275 kits.  

Through BioFund, a Bio X Cell employee-driven philanthropy fund, Bio X Cell has donated $5,000 to the Camp Starter Kit project this year. With this donation, Granite United Way will be able to donate 125 kits.
