Product Description
This Elranatamab biosimilar antibody uses the same variable regions as the therapeutic antibody Elranatamab, making it ideal for research use. Elranatamab is a humanized bispecific antibody that simultaneously targets human CD3 on T cells and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA; TNFRSF17) on malignant plasma cells. By binding CD3 and BCMA, Elranatamab redirects T cells to BCMA-expressing target cells, promoting immune synapse formation, T-cell activation, cytokine release, and targeted cytotoxicity against malignant plasma cells. This T-cell–engaging mechanism enables potent tumor cell killing independent of native antigen presentation and makes Elranatamab a valuable model for studying BCMA-directed immunotherapy. BCMA is highly expressed on plasma cells and multiple myeloma cells, with more limited expression on mature B-cell populations, making it an attractive therapeutic target in hematologic malignancies. This Elranatamab biosimilar is well suited for studying T-cell redirection, BCMA-targeted tumor killing, plasma cell biology, multiple myeloma immunotherapy, and the mechanistic basis of CD3-engaging bispecific antibody therapeutics.
