Product Description
CPB531 is a 2+2 symmetric tetravalent bispecific engineered to simultaneously bind and neutralize mouse IL17A and mouse IL17F. CPB531 contains the murine IgG2a constant region to reduce immunogenicity and the formation of anti-drug antibodies (ADAs) in mouse models and LALA-PG Fc-silencing mutations to abolish antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) while minimizing Fc-driven off-target toxicity and focusing the mechanism on dual cytokine inhibition rather than target-cell depletion. IL-17A and IL-17F are closely related pro-inflammatory cytokines that can signal through overlapping receptor complexes and drive tissue inflammation. IL17A and IL17F exist as homodimers and an IL-17A/F heterodimer. This bispecific antibody is designed to capture mouse IL-17A and IL-17F simultaneously, preventing receptor engagement and reducing downstream inflammatory signaling.
