Product Details
This non-therapeutic biosimilar antibody uses the same variable regions from the therapeutic antibody Omalizumab making it ideal for research use. This Omalizumab biosimilar reacts with free human IgE in blood and interstitial fluid and to membrane-bound IgE on the surface of IgE-expressing B cells. It does not bind to IgE that is already bound by the high affinity IgE receptor (FcĪµRI) on the surface of mast cells, basophils, and antigen-presenting dendritic cells. It does not provoke histamine release from mast-cells sensitised by IgE. Omalizumab binds an epitope in proximity to the binding site of the FcĪµRI.Specifications
